CBS 6 News Ugliest Couch Contest

Do you think you have the ugliest couch?
We want to see it, just submit your photo to the CBS 6 Ugliest Couch contest. Viewers will vote on the pictures and a winner will be announced every Friday in December during the 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. newscast. Four winners will receive a $200 gift certificate to Taft Furniture. A $500 grand prize will be drawn from the winners and Taft Furniture will deliver your new couch from those gift certificates and dispose of your old couch.

All fields MUST be completed for your entry to be added.
We reserve the right to exclude any entries which contain materials found to be offensive, derogatory, or otherwise unacceptable.

By submitting an entry you agree to the terms of this website and the rules of this contest (listed below):

1) NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

2) ENTRY FORMS MUST BE COMPLETELY FILLED OUT.

3) FOUR (4) GRAND PRIZE WINNERS WILL BE CHOSEN BASED PARTIALLY ON VIEWER VOTES EACH FRIDAY AT NOON DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.  A GRAND PRIZE WINNER WILL BE DRAWN AFTER THE FOURTH WINNER IS DETERMINED. 

4) FOUR WINNERS WILL RECEIVE A $200 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO TAFT FURNITURE.  A $500 GRAND PRIZE GIFT CERTIFICATE WILL BE AWARDED TO ONE OF THE FOUR WINNERS.  TAFT FURNITURE WILL DELIVER NEW COUCH AND PICK UP THE OLD COUCH FOR DISPOSAL. 

5) ACCEPTANCE OF THIS PRIZE CONSTITUES PERMISSION TO USE THE WINNER’S NAME AND LIKENESS FOR PROMOTION, ADVERTISING AND PUBLICITY PURPOSES AT NON ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION.  NO TRANSFER OR SUBSTITUTION OF PRIZES IS PERMITTED. 

6) EMPLOYEES OF CBS6/WRGB AND CAPITAL REGION’S CW/WCWN ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN. 

7) CBS 6/WRGB AND CAPITAL REGION’S CW/WCWN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ENTRIES, PERSONAL OR PROPERTY INJURY, LOSSES OR FAILURE OF PROVIDERS IN CONNECTION WITH AWARDING OF THIS PRIZE.
