Why does your dog deserve Greatest American Dog?: Fancy is a very loyal dog. I will be honest when I got her I did not even want another dog ( due to a very spoiled cat ) However, as soon as they showed them to us in their cage I knew I could not leave without her. She must have known too because she walked right to the door and was ready to go. She has been my buddy since then. When I became pregnant with my son she became very protective. She loved to lay on my belly as well as our male pit bull. When I had my son you would have thought she gave birth to him. She laid at his crib, at his swing, at his bassinet, at his glider, she would even lay in front of the door until we returned home with him. She is very well disciplined and very smart. She knows all your standard tricks, very spoiled, and eats off a fork and spoon as if she was a human.....I feel my Fancy is the greatest dog for all the above reasons and if you met her you would think so too.
